Gardening Tip: How To Kill Sidewalk Grass Or Weeds
Grass and weeds always grow where you don’t want them to grow, like between cracks in your sidewalk, or between patio pavers. There is a very simple and cheap way to kill the grass and weeds that make their way up through cement and stones, and that’s with boiling water.
Boil some water in a tea kettle or other pot that has a directional spout so you won’t burn yourself while pouring the boiling water, and just pour the boiling water on the grass and weeds you want to kill.
The boiling water kills the plants and any seeds on the plant or seeds in the nearby ground. repeat the boiling water treatment as often as needed.
